6 easy steps for ordering your sympathy card kit
Step 1
Choose a background color for your card
The sympathy cards can be printed on six different background colors; red,
blue, grey,
green, black, and white.
You will specify the card background color when placing your order. You should choose a color that best matches your artwork (logo, patch,
insignia, etc.), or a color that will allow your logo to appear its best.
If you would like a color background other than the colors listed above, please contact us and we will do our best to accommodate you. Step 2
Choose a sympathy message
A sympathy message can be printed on the inside of the card if you wish. You will specify the sympathy message when placing
your order. You can elect to have no sympathy message (blank inside) as well.

Choose a charity to receive the donation
When you purchase a sympathy card kit, Hero to Hero, Inc. will donate $25 to one of several non-profit organizations
specifically designed to assist our hero's family. You will choose the charity when placing your order.
The available choices are: 1. Concerns for Police Survivors (COPS) 2. National Fallen Firefighters Foundation (NFFF) 3. National EMS Memorial Service Fund. Step 4
Submit your order online
When you are ready to place your order, go to our online order form,
fill it out, and submit your order. You will need a valid credit card to place an order.
Step 5
Send in your copyright waiver sheet
After you have placed your order, you will need to print the copyright waiver form, fill it out, sign it,
and mail it to Hero to Hero, Inc. We can not process an order without a signed
copyright waiver form, which is required because we will be printing your
logo, eblem, or insignia on the sympathy cards, which may carry copyright implications. You can mail the signed copyright waiver
form to:

Send us your logo, photograph, emblem, insignia, or patch
After you have placed your order, you will need to send us your logo, insignia, emblem, photograph, or patch, which we will
use to print on the front of your sympathy cards. There are two ways that you can send your logo to us;
you can email a digital (electronic) file to us, or you can send it to us in the U.S. Mail. If you only have
your logo on paper (hardcopy photograph, for example) or in the form of a patch, for example, you will, of course need to U.S. Mail it to us.
Please note:
• We can not return any artwork/patch which is U.S. Mailed to us. • Your logo may be printed vertically (portrait) or horizontally (landscape) depending on the shape/layout of the source material you send us. To email us your digital file, the file must be in JPG, JPEG, GIF, EPS, TIF, or TIFF format and must be 300 DPI (dots per inch) resolution. Email the file to artwork@HeroToHero.com. That's all there is to it! Once we have recieved your order and your copyright waiver and your logo, we will
process your order and you will receive your sympathy card kit in about 6 to 8 weeks.
