Q:   What should I do if my organization receives a Hero to Hero, Inc. dual custom sympathy card?

A:   First, open the large custom sympathy card; it's for your agency and the peers of our fallen hero. Second, arrange for your agency representative to hand deliver the interior smaller card to our fallen hero's surviving family. Third, encourage the surviving family to contact the non-profit organization listed on the card to learn how they can receive assistance in coping with a line of duty death.

Q:   What does it mean the card(s) comes with a benefit?

A:   Hero to Hero, Inc. manufactures the only dual custom sympathy card(s) specifically designed to emotionally and fiscally support the peers and surviving families of our fallen heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. A donation from each purchase goes to a non-profit organization best suited to assist the surviving families with benefits such as bereavement counseling, educational college scholarships for children, emergency income bridging and all expense paid trips to the national memorials to see our fallen heroes honored.

Q:   Which charities receive money from the donation made by Hero to Hero, Inc.?

A:   Hero to Hero Inc. donates money from each card purchase to three non-profit organizations that provide assistance to the surviving families of our fallen heroes. These organizations are Concerns of Police Survivors (COPS), National Fallen Firefighter Foundation (NFFF), and the National Emergency Medical Services Memorial Service (NEMSMS).

Q:   Why should I purchase a Hero to Hero Inc. card?

A:   A Hero to Hero, Inc. card(s) is the easiest way to show your appreciation for our heroes that made the ultimate sacrifice and to their families. Hero to Hero, Inc. manufactures the only card(s) that come with a benefit to help the surviving families.

Q:   How do I know where to mail my card?

A:   Place your email address on the Hero to Hero, Inc. Line of Duty Death Notification Section of the home page and you will be notified through email when a hero falls in the line of duty. You can then mail your dual sympathy card to the address provided by Hero to Hero, Inc.

Q:   How can Hero to Hero, Inc. produce such a fine quality product and afford a donation too for almost half the price of generic card brands?

Q:   What's so special about a Hero to Hero, Inc. card(s)?

A:   The special thing about a dual custom Hero to Hero, Inc. card(s) is your mailing one card to the agency that suffered the loss of a fallen hero, but your second interior card is being hand delivered to the surviving family. The custom cards each with their unique patch, logo or photograph will help the peers and surviving families identify that they are not alone and that you care.

Q:   What is your subscription plan?

A:   Hero to Hero Inc. will notify you of a line of duty death and mail your card(s) out for you or your agency for a small additional charge. You will then be informed that your card was sent through email.

Q:   What gets printed inside the card?

A:   You choose from an assortment of sympathy messages which gets printed inside the card. Click here to view the available sympathy messages.  Also, printed on the interior cover is a message that informs the receiver that, when the card system was purchased, a donation was made to one of several non-profit organizations you selected to assist the families of our fallen heroes.

Q:   Does any of my payment go to charity?

A:   Yes, each purchase benefits our hero's families through a $25 donation to one of the following non-profit organizations, specifically designed to assist the family: Concerns for Police Survivors (COPS), National Fallen Firefighters Foundation, or National EMS Memorial Service.
